INSPIRATION: When we purchased this land the vision was to deliver the ultimate in Mornington Peninsula-style luxury living. The architectural style was inspired by travels throughout New Zealand and was designed to combine all of the facets of New Zealand architecture that we fell in love with.

TARGET MARKET: The property was designed with specific buyers in mind – either retirees seeking a relaxed coastal home or a young city buyer who desired a luxury beach house.

LOCATION: We chose this location because it was close enough to walk into Flinders village offering easy access to the amenities, whilst being far enough out of town to ensure no passing traffic and the peace of the rural setting.

DESIGN INTENT: The intention was clear. To deliver a New Zealand barn-style house that incorporated everything that we love in a home with coastal liveability and lifestyle at the forefront of the design. The intended owners were those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of city living and escape to the Peninsula for a sea change. We love the fireplace and chimney that creates an architectural feature at front of the house juxtaposed with the pitch of the roof. It gives a sense of the home beyond, with expansive living spaces that look over the stunning rear landscape.
